free UK breakdown cover

    I filled (the car[1]) up at a Total a week or so back (I don't
    normally use it) and noticed the advertising for this offer.

    However, when I spoke to the bloke on the counter, he claimed to know
    nothing about it and told me I'd have to "call head office".

    Which isn't exactly user-friendly.


    [1] I'd done a long-ish run, and calculated the fuel consumption out
    to a heady 22mph - woohoo!
