Depends. If "shopping" entails buying several glasses of beer, then
    you can count me in.

True, so just in case, I'll try to stay in close proximity to Champ,
although with me still running in, this could be tricky.

Could be interesting, shopping with a tinned food expert. I'd bring my
    beer with me though.

Not entirely. There's the possibility of showers on Friday, and rain
    on Sunday/Monday.

Heh. No, I'll still probably take the 'Max, but I cannot over-emphasise
how much fun it is not in the wet.

If you even make it onto French soil, you'll be making good progress.

I'm not into over planning things, takes the fun out of it.
Can I have the URL for the hotel please. I've only had a quick look at
a map to see if Dieppe was left or right from Calais.

As a five star petrol muppet I'm taking a wine bottle fuel of fuel in
    my luggage this time.

Park behind him for the crossing, loop a long bungee from the back of
his bike, round your forks and back to his bike.

    On disembarking, hang on.

Oh, and get some form of helmet cam to record his face looking round as
    you repeatedly try to overtake.
