Since all of my plans seem to be turning to shit at the moment, it looks
like I'll be taking the SV on the French run, abandoning it at the
in-laws' house in Belgium and returning by some other method[1].

Assuming that I can sort out the logistics to get to Mechelen and back,
does anyone have a spare seat that could get me back on to Blighty's
shores? Not really too fussed about the drop off point, so long as I can
    pick up a westwards train.

[1]I was going to fly back but the fare tripled overnight[2]
[2]As a result of my own procrastination.

Should be enough space on the back of the RT, and I can drop you off at
Ashford station given that it's not exactly far from where I live.

Cheers Timo, I'm giving serious thought to just riding it back and then
Nige it out before we go to Belge. Gives me an excuse to buy a nice
shiny tax-free bike when I get there. I suspect the decision will be
made very close to the French Run.

I used to go out with a girl from Mechelen. Brilliant Chinese restaraunt
there. Looks shabby, but the food was brilliant.

Kathleen Cannaerts, that was the weirdest relationship I ever had...

Having a wife from that neck of the woods, it may be wiser for me to
play no further part in this thread.
