Except it's not. "Much" and "many" correspond to "little" and "few".
They have no impact on the "less" v "fewer" argument, where both words
    correspond to "more".

I'm getting the definite feeling that madam is eyeing up her 50th
birthday for a spot of "sod that for a game of soldiers", and spending
much more time at the house in France.

Meanwhile, those of us too young to draw a pension at fifty ...

There's no animal so gross that the French won't eat its arsehole.

Do you guys honestly believe this?!!

I don't know how else you can increase your invested capital by 25% or more
every year other than in your own SME business/busting your balls or in
    serious_league property development.

Of course - the evidence of one's eyes demonstrates, surely
No one is denying you can make serious money being your own boss. The
question is over whether you want to take the risk of going bankrupt
    that goes with it.

    Hmm true words.
At DX I made damn sure that I was the only **** who understood how the
seriously customised finance and EPOS systems had developed and worked. The
MD and his co-owner were pretty ruthless when it came to chopping people
from the Board down who crossed them.
You need to be in at the beginning of a company or a major system
re-engineering to achieve that. I would have though SAP implementations
would be pretty good for feather bedding?

I guess that is just following the usual market adage of higher prospects of
    return = higher risk.

Well quite. And it's no surprise that most of us don't want to take
the risk. As I've often misquoted, while being my own boss might be
great, being my own employee would be a disaster.

Where the platypus is concerned, it's only the feet you need to worry
    about.

Or have you *still* not read that article?
