  2. I have a cunning wheeze - why don't we digitise the lot and make people
carry a card where it can all be stored? Oh - and lets make it an ID
card too becuase that would always stop the naughty people..

This post bought to you by the word 'sarcasm' and the desire to kill
users who make my life a misery..

Pah. Avon AV45/46 are the way forward. Grip better, last miles
longer and are cheaper in the first place. FWR are doing a pair deal
    for £149: http://www.fwr.co.uk/pairdeal.htm
    That's a result, too ;-)

Depends on the bike though dunnit? I think it is a horses for courses
thing that we should really pay much more attention to. I am a big fan
of the BT45 but never has a pair of boots made so much difference to any
of the bikes I have (had them) fitted on as it has to the GS.

You missed off the 'l'. And the obligatory mention of 'cluebats'.

Ta, I thought "threatening" was too strong a word. Still any sort of
intimidation in a case like this is too much. If you'd wound them up,
staying just the right side of the law but pissing them off immensely,
I could see them getting narked and trying this, but having a small
plate and an iffy back tyre I don't think you would have.
    Heh, true.

They've got to establish innocence or guilt but its only manners to be
    polite as they do so.

  12. Me cage. <grin> It has a poncy personal plate. Bought for me by Himself, so
that I didn't lose the car in the car park. Month after I got latest
vehicle, plates was nicked. Reported to (helpful) Plod, so that I'd have a
record on file of it. Plod said this v common in London because of Kretinous
Ken's Kongestion Charge and bus lane cameras. Apparently, they get literally
hundreds a month, which is a cost that Ken never reports, does he, the nasty
    little turd.

Number plates replaced forthwith - luckily, the V5 had turned up the day
before. Number plates secured with Super Glue at suggestion of both Plod and
    dealer.

Heh, just thought I'd call myself a plonker before anyone else does :)
Not a lot of choices open to me. Saying that I have now got a plan and
a bike in mind in a year or so time.
I don't do pillions as a rule, any pillions. The thought of binning it
and breaking someone other than myself isn't one I like to think about.

It bothers me a bit - you suddenly become responsible for someone
else's welfare. It bothers me more if it's a kid, to the point that
if it's somebody else's kid then they don't get on.

Thank you Mr. Pedant. "Kid" in the context of someone under 16 years
    of age.

Don't bother me at all. Pillions are some people who ride on the back of
other peoples bikes as far as I am concerned.
