Having just had a look - it's looking a lot more promising at the
    moment :

    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/europe_forecast_7days.asp?locationID
    =1906 (Bonn)

    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/europe_forecast_7days.asp?locationID
    =1713 (Charleville)

Still cloudy with some rain forecast, but it's now "V. light" and less
than a mm of rain. Temperature is also a bit warmer (though only 13 in
    Bonn).

Surley that was the min, not the max? Most of the forecasts I've
looked at put it round 18-20C.

I've still not decided if I'm coming, BTW, but maybe one or two of the
Ring-runners could email me their numbers? I've got Champ's and Adie's
but I don't know if they're deffo going.

What, so we can text you when we're there and you can turn up 4 hours
    later when we're not? :)

Something like that. I was more thinking so I can arrange to meet up
once there, since I'll be needing to leave home at the crack of dawn,
hence before you lot are out of bed.

I've still not decided if I'm coming, BTW, but maybe one or two of the
If Saturday is not rainy I could me you at the ring, or meet you somewhere
between Sedan and the Ring to guide you the final say 50 mls or so (if that
is needed at all - don't know if you've been there).

You can also mail me, the email adress is valid.

Well, I was under the impression we were going somewhere approximately
250+ miles away from the UK. I didn't realise we were going to your
    office.

I really hope it's broken. or the -171 C temperatures and 102 MPH winds
are going to be a touch problematic.

  11. There's a gorgeous appropriateness about the German word for 'weather'
    being 'wetter', as well.

Combine that with the Dutch for weather (weer, which also means again) and I
think we've got the weekend sorted :-(

Well, I've just checked the Met office and the Frog weather
    sites.....and..... Its perking up!

Looks like the only bit of rain may be around Calais and about 20 miles
inland - and not that heavy, either - showers, mainly.

Sat and Sun are OK, too. However, I haven't checked the kraut weather, so
I dunno how you chaps doing the ring will go on...

Right, I'm off to shove my weekend crap in a bag, check the Bandit is in
one piece, load some music onto my ipaq and set off TOGwards in a few
    hours.

    Cheers!

I've got things to do but I'll tell you what they are when I see you
at the weekend. The only clue is that I'm going to behave on certain
evenings and lay of the beer. Actually I'll not lay off the beer, I'll
just not get totally lashed every night.

Thanks, but I reckon I'll find it. I'm coming up from my house (near
Basel), not with the rest of the group, by the way, so will be leaving
early morning to hopefully be there before lunchtime. But if you send
me your number, I'll text you en-route to see if it's worth meeting up
    anyway.
    Will do.
