French Run - who needs a big bike?

I'm having another computer room clear out searching for the grant of
probate for my old dad (a long story involving a share holding that has
only come to light 7 years after his death) and happened on this photo.

My Morini 350 K2 on the (not that long open) Eurotunnel Shuttle in
October 1995 on the way to France. Note large Givi panniers dictated by
taking SWMBO on a 5 day return to Compiegne and Reims.

Who needs a hyper powered sports tourer? It got us there and back
cruising at 130 (yes KPH) or so. Good job I did have plenty of space
however as I packed a spare transducer and pickup, which I had to fit in
the car park of a 'Mr Bed' hotel two days in to the trip. Prescient or
what? Slightly tricky as they were the much earlier type than a K2. By a
process of trial and error I came up with a permutation which gave me
two functioning cylinders. IIRC I had to change the pickup as well as
the transducers although it had only gone on to one pot. The 'new'
transducer's timing was out in this configuration, but it ran well
enough to get us back home.

That photo was taken in 1995! Dunno when they stopped using them.
