I'm a bit jealous at the moment - glorious Sunshine in London and
    Oxfordshire.

Probably ends at Dover though :)

if you believe the forecasts, it's going to be cracking bank holiday
weather. In the south of England at any rate.

I'm thinking about buying some shorts. The forecast for the next few
days looks lovely. I think I'll get in early, buy a few beers and start
    on my tan.

I noticed the couriers were in 'sunny day' mode today.

1st gear burnouts from the lights in shorts and t-shirts :)

Yep, it's a day to behold. The Buffalos can come off and you can be
warmed by the warm and gentle south westerly breezes.

Some of them have a shocking taste in sunglasses but what can you do
when the weather's better than it has been for months?

Indeed. I am planning an assault with WMD on the garden this weekend.
The nice thing about it is that I won't be getting any blisters, my
lungs simply aren't up to the effort involved. I expect mild sunburn
    though.

  9. Not according to French weather it doesn't.

Well, i can't comment on the weather but so far there's one DNF on the
first leg of the race to the hotel, DNC apparently snapped his chain,
doesn't seem to have done any damage to anything though, so it's just a
    delay.

AFAIK that's a very recent chain.

It was absolutely glorious. Not a single cloud in the sky.

Yesterday afternoon consisted mostly of a hundred miles of Belgian
hairpins in perfect sunshine. Showed off my newly acquired gaffer
    tape in all its splendour.

Dover felt positively arctic this afternoon in comparison.

heh, I've been there. Very nice. Shame about the council sink estate
population on the beach in Summer tho' ;-)

    Cheers,

    Paul.

You're on the wrong beach. Come down to the west beach, were us
wind/kite surfers are. Much more salubrious.

See .sig. I is mostly based in da midlands, so I sail inland (which
costs £250/year). Plans to move to devon are afoot ;-)

I used to sail Hayling at the weekends (staying on Lower Tye Campsite),
but go to kerry/devon more often now.

Not been out this year yet. *checks weather* That's gonna change this
    weekend, however ;-)

Ooh - not so good. Although I guess Rutland Water's not too far away, which
is about as good as 'inland' gets.
    Much better.
Looks pretty good (although a bit nippy) for the weekend. Unfortunately I'm
prepping my bike for a track day, so can't make it myself. Bloody European
Superbike School insist on your coolant being replaced with water FFS.
