frugal bike

  1. I had one as well. Like an overgrown 125. The very last models had a
hydraulic front disc, too, not that cable abortion.

These tuits are very small, those tuits are far away.

  6. True, there's a shortage of them here, too.

The Older Gentleman, I got carried away and just splashed out on a tidy
    2002 k2 gs500 (11k miles, 12m tax/test) for £1200 (I guess I could
have paid less but I'm happy).
although the 250N would have been the most economical, I'm excited
about getting on a big bike - I just got my license upgraded in
December so thought I may as well use it :)
insurance was £190 (tpft), about £100 more than the 250n but hey

i'm now wearing a big grin like when I first passed my test

tick hehe, huge grin still on my face
d'oh.. today was bitterly cold.. hands had to be run under the hot
    water tap to regain feeling
so far so good.. compared to the cg125 it is amazing. I kept up with a
carrera at tilehill traffic lights on the way home, won't do it again
    lest I get cocky.

    cheers,
    Pete

    Kinell yes.

No, you cannot possibly be happy whilst you are certifiable and no one
in their right mind would have a GS500.

    As you should.
