I'm sure it's too dear / wrong colour / 'looked at you funny' etc, but
    whatever...

Now surplus to requirements, I've got my Asus EEE 1000 Netbook thingy
    for sale.

    10.2" screen, I believe.
    1Gb Ram
    40Gb SSD hard drive
    Intel Atom N270 processor

    Built in Wi-Fi / 1.3 mega pixel webcam (1).

Oh... and it's running Windows XP.

    £150

    Located in Kent.

    (1) Paging Sir Tony

Quickest ever sale on here??? :)

Ok, how would Sir like to sort out the logistics... I can probably get
it up as far as SE London at the weekend.

Early bird catchy monkey and all that.

Could do that, or it might be UR-able if anyone's travelling from
deepest darkest Kent to the city of a weekday.

    <appear in a flash of light>

Canary Wharf only, I'm afraid. But I can get it up there no problem.

Okey dokey... I'll make a trip over to Mr Geuschs place later on,
assuming he's going to be around.

Ping me with a working email addy, and we'll sort out the rest of the
    logistics etc.

He's working from home tomorrow, or you could drop it off on the
weekend. I might be able to get it up there tomorrow but I'm already
    carrying another laptop.
    Well, you got mine already.

I never dropped that... he did. :p

Did you know... that the person who bought that off me still has it?

They don't use it much, but it's there when they want it.

All it's apparently needed since I owned it is an collector box (They
all do that, Sir), servicing and the usual consummables, as in tyres /
    chain and sprockets.

I believe the speedo packed up a while back... but then given it's
usually the sensor at the gearbox end (of which I have two amongst my
collection of VFR spares), not exactly the end of the world.

Given I sold it... over nine years ago, I don't think that's too bad
    really. :)
