Confirms it's a good'un (did 120 on the test ride, apparently, and it's SORNed. Do hope he didn't trip any scameras). He went over it with a fine tooth comb, and ditto the paperwork. Liked the K1 bars, too. Said he thought the front brakes a bit feeble, but then as they're just ancient small Brembo twin-potters on quite a big bike, they would feel that way if you're used to modern stuff (see below). Anyway, he's having a think about it and I've said I'm away for the next couple of days (got to go and catch a flight now) so as long as he can let me know by Thursday, as otherwise I'll have to add it to my insurance. He's got a 1000 V-Strom and a ZX9R right now. The Strom doesn't get used that much, and he doesn't like the fairing. The 9R is a bit long in the tooth. So what he wants to do is flog both, get a cheap touring bike for when he's doing miles with his wife on the back (like a French Run), and buy something more hooligan-oriented as well. He reckons a £1000 KRS fits the bill, but we'll see.
