Please excuse my ignorance, but what's a FOSB?

And to be fair, he's asking less than what it cost when it was
    new... ;-)

I have the original purchase reciepts and full log books on the bike it
really runs very well, it is just not my kind of bike and I need to make
    room for another BMW.

    Indeed Sir.

    bollocking regardless of actual relevance)

True, true, and a not unreasonable price at all if that's a gen-u-wine
piccy of the motorsickle in question, but the traditional bid is $3.50
and the firm placement of a foot in the testicles, hence he's a
    hundredfold high on the price...

(IOW I wasn't being serious, just deliberately silly)

I was offered a new GPz900R for $3999 on run out... so no, not cheaper
    than new ;-)

I have the original sales reciept for this one at $8,000 in 1989. What year
were you offered one for $3,999?

  14. I'm thinking the same. If that is the actual motosickle I'd probably be
    interested as well.

    That is the motorcycle.

I think it is a fair price but the bids on eBay will determine that.

    1985 I think...

I could have had a GSX1100ESD for the same money at the time.

Shortly after that there was a huge increase in motorbike prices across
the board due to the massive drop in the Aussie dollar.

    I purchased a new GSX1100ED in 1983 for $3000. Great motor looking for a
    decent frame.

    I also owned a GSX1100ESD in 1997.

Really? For some reason I thought that they dropped the black/grey/
red colour scheme a bit earlier than that. What model is it?
