My mate's selling his mint condition 04 R1, I have to say I was very
very tempted....But apparently I'm not allowed any more bike sin the
    garage for now!

Anyway, follow the link on ebay:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-YAMAHA-Y....c0.m14&_trkparms=65:1|66:2|39:1|293:2|294:50

I know there'a prob a better way to put up the link, but remember I'm
    a total techie numpty....

Email me if anyone wants more details and can't access ebay - or if
I've fecked up the link! I do have a price he'd accept.

No, that's the best way. Far better than the cunts who just post an
    item ID.

That's it: give him a peace of your mind.

That involves more effort on the part of the poster though. C&P'ing the
full URL takes the same effort as C&P'ing the item number, but takes
zero effort on the part of the reader other than a single click. Well
unless they're using a crap newsreader of course, but that's there
    problem - **** 'em.

It's still just a swipe with the mouse & a right click if you've got a
decent newsreader though innit? Which is a lot easier than a swipe or
double-click to select the item number, Ctrl-C, switch to (or load up)
browser, click eBay shortcut, click in item field, Ctrl-V, Return. I
have no idea why the people who just post the item ID want to make us
do all that when there's absolutely no need.

Some, including mine, get round that if you stick URL: in front of the
link. Agent can also right-click and "launch URL" on a wrapped one.

No, that's the very *worse* thing you could ever do.
