FS: Honda VFR800Fi - Plenty Bargain, Much Cheapness

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by jackhackettuk, Sep 19, 2008.

  1. For the benefit of the pedantry police out there, this is the last
    time I'll be posting this in here, not least because I don't expect it
    to be around for long at this price.

    I'll cut to the chase - 1500 of your finest English pounds gets you a
    fully working, ready to go 1998 R Reg Honda VFR800Fi in black.

    If you're still interested, key selling points are as follows:

    * MOT til May 2009
    * Taxed November 2009
    * 32k from new
    * Tinted double bubble screen
    * Solid collector box and downpipes
    * New battery fitted in May 2008
    * Front tyre good, rear tyre not so good and will need changing
    imminently - something reflected in the price
    * All other consummables such as chain and sprockets, are fine

    Previously owned for six years by SteveH, it's given neither of us any
    problems bar maybe the inherent association with pipes and slippers.

    The price is firm - advertised elsewhere for £1695, and £1500 is the
    absolute bottom line, something which I'm sure TOG will agree is a
    more than reasonable price for it.

    Too good to be used as a winter hack, but would make a good one at
    this price.

    Located in Kent and pics available on request.

    Email addy in the headers is unmunged if anyone would like to contact
    me directly for more info or to arrange a viewing.

  2. Arse.

    Yes... ta for pointing it out.

    It is in fact taxed til November 2008.

    If I have no luck getting shot of it by other means, I'll resort to
    eBay next week.

    Odd fact, but in these days of subprime lending it turns out ninja is
    one of the words they're using in financial cirles these days to mean
    No INcome Job or Assets.

    How crap is that.
