If anyone's looking for a reliable dual purpose thumper, my '91 TT600
is up for grabs. I haven't taken any pics yet, but will do so over the
weekend, once I've given her a quick tub.

Around 12 months ago, I spent over $1K on it (still got the receipts
somewhere...) getting it RWC to use as a commuter and weekend fun bike
(new tyres - road legal knobbies, indicators, fork seals, mirrors,
brakes, etc. etc.). I'm sorry to say it's only been ridden three times
since (I decided to buy a dedicated road bike instead) and has spent
the last year resting quietly in my workshop, being started every
fortnight just to keep the juices flowing.

No current rego, but I'm prepared to supply a RWC with the bike. Also
included is a photocopy of the original Yamaha worksop manual (not that
    I've ever needed it).

Starts easily, runs well, plenty O' grunt. I'm open to serious offers,
but haven't really settled on a price yet. Probably somewhere around
    the $2.5K mark with RWC.

    E-mail rodb_at_baconplanet_dot_com for details.

Hmm.. I wonder if it would fit in my '76 XT500 frame.

I love the old thng, but it's being a pig to start right now....

Im in Bundoora. Northern suburbs of Melbourne. I'll give her a quick
tub over the wekend (she's actually quite clean, as she's kept indoors)
and get some pics up on the web early next week.
