  1. For a friend of a friend:

Ok the scooter is a PGO Bella (2002), 100cc, registered until 16th
Oct. $1600 neg. Sarah's happy to include helmet and gloves in that
price. Her mobile is 0416324233. My understanding for the sale is
financial, she recently lost her job.

    Kev,

I'm not sure it's a good idea to post all of that information on the
Internet. (and I don't mean you should only post the first nine
    digits of her number either).

  4. She was happy for it to be posted.

I post my phone number all over the internets. Have done for years. My
street address is easy to find as well.

If someone is gunna stalk you, they will find you. I don't see a
problem myself. If you want to hide, that's your prerogative - I use
my full name on any forums I use.

I recall my mum being scared shitless when I showed her how Google
Earth worked when I zoomed from full globe to her house. But you can
do that for every damn house in the world (nearly). Doesn't mean you
    are any more vulnerable.

Personally, I want to be contactable. I'll put up with a bit of spam.
And she wants to sell the bike. There's the phone number.

The thing you really need to be scared of is paranoia. I've never
posted under anything but my real email addy, given out my phone
number and address. And I'm in the phone book.

  7. I have the same stance. People are shocked that I have all this
information on the net, but it's not all that more than you can get via
    other sources anyway.

I gloat, that you can have my Name, Address, landline Phone number
(more if you don't care about validity), Mobile phone number, Seven
email addresses (several more if you don't care about validity), AND get
a decent personality profile of me (or if you're running out of time, at
least get a good hint of what I'm about).

And if it takes you more than 15 minutes, you're doing something wrong.
