Is the duct tape and bubble-wrap "touring" seat included in the price?

    Why?
It's amazingly good bike, just a 996S (ohlins, showa golds, 320mm brembo
goldlines, marchesini's) with comfy bits and no single sided arm, for
    throw away money.

It has new clutch plates, gel battery and a Laminar Lip screen flip too.
It fucking goes some (two up with luggage) and grinds out your boots
    without a hint of wallow.

Incredible standard of finish on these too.

Well, basically because the last time I bought a bike advertised on
here without thinking it through, I got something that didn't really
suit me. Although I'd quite like an ST4S, like the Tiger I have now, I
don't think I'd ride it enough to do justice to the thing. I'm really
looking for a near-naked roadster and/or another supermoto.
well, I'm not disagreeing with you - it seems a bit of a bargain.

Nige have you or anyone you know got a van that can be rented for real
or beer money. Will be needing to move stuff to the new gaff in York
    from t'other side of York.

Be up for a quick ride out/beer tonight (Monz?) as Di has salsa/samba
    stuff going on.

I really, really shouldn't even be asking questions but...
    What's the pillion comfort like?
How knackered is the rear shock (Ohlins or no)?

It has the best pillion accomodation available short of a Goldwing. Low
footpegs in the right place, head not way above the rider, plenty of seat
foam, grab rail. *Much* more comfortable than a BMW airhead or K.

The shock isn't knackered at all, it's an ohlins preload adjustable and the
suspension/brakes/handling are fantastic. I can get my toes dragging at 135
    two up with full luggage.

I don't scrimp, if I could fault the suspension in any way it would be off
for a rebuild. That's why it is getting new front discs, though not more
than 10k old some crap pads appear to have left them rather scored. The
abilities of the whole bike exceed mine in every respect and I'm not slow.
