FS: Suzuki SV650S

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Andy Ashworth, Sep 12, 2004.

  1. All,

    With a rather unexpected change in career arrangements in April, I'm no
    longer using the SV as much as I should. My daily commute between home and
    Derby (17 miles) has become a weekly commute between home and Salisbury (150
    miles) and the SV just isn't quite big enough nor practical enough to permit
    carriage of all necessary luggage. Therefore it has to go (sob!), to be
    replaced by something more practical (Trumpet perhaps).

    So before I get offered a rock-bottom price from a dealer, is anyone
    interested in a 2001 SV650SY in Red; one owner from new and with a mere
    24000 miles on the clock.

    Full service history ;

    - new tyres (Avon 45/46) fitted in the last 1000 miles;

    - suspension tweaked (WP shock at rear);

    - Scott-oiler;

    - TCP fairing lowers fitted this March.

    - Double bubble screen (plus original screen)

    - Suzuki Gel seat (plus standard seat)

    - Tax and tested until Mar 05.

    Photos can be provided once I get them sorted (next weekend - weather
    permitting).

    The bike is located in NW Leicestershire (about 3 miles from J11 of M42) and
    due to my working away, can be viewed at weekends only. For a mere £2300 it
    can be yours!

    Any questions / replies / offers that you want answering before next
    weekend's return to civilisation (!) to acashworth at qinetiq dot com.

    Cheers

    Andy

    Seems a bargain - mine went for that and was higher mileage and in much
    worse condition.
