    What : Suzuki V-Strom 1000 K2
    Age : 2002 (02) reg
    Colour : Blue
    Miles : 10500
TAX : Until end Jan 2008
    MOT : Until Sept 14 2007
    Location : Milton Keynes
Price : A1 trade price is £2750 or thereabouts (which mine should get
having low miles) so offers around £3100.

    Bits :-
MRA adjustable screen, ScottOiler, AlphaDot, Timing Retard Eliminator,
fromt braided hoses, Givi top box rack, fender extender (which works
bloody well, engine & rad & down pipe are bloody clean), last serviced
@ 7500 miles including both tyres, had main clutch basket/primary gear
shaft replaced 11/06 (known fault, weak springs on basket that causes
very rough acceleration between 3~4.5k RPM, wearing out primary shaft -
one of those "not quite factory recalls but we'll change it FOC if you
moan about it" things which the orig owner should have had changed but
    never did)

Condition is very good with a couple of knocks to the paint,
mechanically its A1, rides well. I found the TRE makes a big
difference, as did the braided hoses, and the MRA screen makes ton up
cruising a comfortable affair for taller riders.

    Why :-
The 9R, bought on a whim to see if it could be modified for me, is a
success. And as 3 bikes, a car and a workshop don't fit into a double
    garage something has to go.

banged the rocks together and they said :
Ah! A "my pile of shite is bigger than yours" thread, eh?

    3 bikes, 1 car, 1 toolchest, 1 workbench, 1 CNC + PC + 2 monitors, 1
chest freezer, 1 upright fridge freezer, 1 camping fridge, 2 gas
cylinders, 2 spare tyres, 1 microwave, 2 hifi speakers, 1 car sub, 1
guitar amp + cruddy guitar, 1 shortwave receiver, 5 boxes of books,
half a dozen crutches, 2 trolley jacks, half a dozen boxes of scrap
electronic junk, various camping gear, paddock stand, swivel chair, 2
CD towers, bits of spare hifi, 4 biking jackets, 2 lids, 4 sets biking
trews, 2 sets bike boots, various jacket/trews liners, smoke machine,
coffee machine, CB aerial + rig + PSU, paint tins, spray tins, tins
with goey stuff, bottles with oily stuff, 4 petrol cans, petrol
strimmer, assorted spare bits of wood & metal, reels of wire and fag
ends on the floor, which I'm just about to add to.

Anyway, whats the point of having these 3 bikes? The 9Rs for fun, the
ATs for commuting. If the third bike was a crosser I'd keep it for fun.
And I hate having to shuffle stuff round to get the bike I want to use
    out.

You gurt big poof. I have 6 bikes in my single garage, with a tool
chest, a workbench and god knows what other shite as well. That's a
feeble excuse for not keeping it.

Hang on a sec. You're a male living in a large 4 bedroom detached
house with a conservatory, and you live alone. 90% of that shite
should be lobbed on the floor of all the rooms you don't inhabit and
the garage should be filled with vehicular toys, like any other self
respecting single and living alone bloke would do.

    I have far too much stuff/junk, I'm a hoarder.

Anyway, challenge your organisational skills, fit another bike in your
    garage, much cheapness, buy today!

I know what my (single bloke) perfect house would be. Double car x
double car garage with a bedroom and kitchen above but on a mezzanine
so I can look out at the mechanical marvels on the floor. Sort of the
arrangement Dirk Pitt has in the Clive Cussler books.
