Still can't offload this on Ebay, which amazes me, because it's been
well-priced and as my mate Niall said, when looking it over, it's a
helluva lot of bike for two grand.

    So....

Triumph 955 Sprint ST, 1999T reg, 36k, as full a service history as
you'll ever see: bills, recall notice for the fuel lines, service
book, the works. Owner's handbook (photocopy). Factory alarm. Extra
carbon bits - rear hugger, chainguard, fairing infills. Really, really
superb condition and very red. T&T until late June. Decent tyres,
chain, sprox, brakes. If there's a nicer one for the year, I haven't
seen it. Two grand, SW London area.

If I can't flog it, then I reckon the Duke might be up for grabs, so
if anyone's interested in that: Ducati 750SS, 1997R so a late carbed
model, mine from new, 28k miles, long tax and ticket, brand new tyres,
as comprehensive a service history as you'll find, oil and filter
changed every 3k miles and only fully synth oil used, belts changed
every 6k (ie: half the recommended intervals), new rear wheel
bearings, Datatagged, owner's handbook, some odd extras and spares
(unused brake pads and air filter element, odds and sods). Bears some
scars of a decade's thrashing: never dropped, but some chips in the
paint here and there, a few corrosion spots: just cosmetic wear and
tear. Plenty of ukrm-ers can testify to its having been
enthusiastically used on various outings. And it's been supernaturally
reliable, too. That'd be up for £1500.

*la, la, la, I'm not listening*

You absolute ****. Are you trying to bankrupt me or something?

I've just splurged this summer's toy budget on the shite old Alfa.

But I do love those old things.

A garage can never be "full" just requires some really clever stacking,
    in a single garage I have had 2 XJ600S, 3 CB250RS, 1 Trials bike and my
toolbox, I couldn't move in there but all went in!/

    Peter Jones says...
In my single garage at this precise moment are: 1 x Yamaha SR250, 1 x
    Triumph Trident 900 Sprint, 1 x Suzuki GSX-R750L, 1 x Triumph Daytona
955i, 1 x Triumph Daytona 600, all complete and with room to move around
them. This is in addition to a 2ft x 3ft workbench with a 6" jaw vice
attached, a medium sized roll cab and toolchest, various shelves
containing odds and sods, 3 dustbins full of coal and various bags of
coal on the floor, a fridge freezer, 8 used but good bike tyres, 4m x 5m
of carpet rolled up, a scaffold plank, a mountain of used bike parts
that I need to photograph and put on eBay that take up almost the entire
width of the back wall and shitloads of other stuff that I cba to type
    up.

It all goes in easily with room to move around the bikes, all depends
how good you are at organising stuff.

I missed that, and feel left out, so here's my list.

2 pushbikes (for road and offroad respectively)
    2 working motorcycles
    1 "project" motorcycle[0]
1 workbench, containing tools and engine from project[1] .
    some mess
    some other tools
    nondescript containers, and stuff
    spiders (various sizes)

[0] Not bike in a box, a fully assembled chassis with engine and battery
    out.

[1] technically this still needs only a morning's work to get it sorted,
but I've just not been arsed.. must do something soon to make space.

I didn't, but I was scared of tripping binary filters.

And it's only going to get worse^H^H^H^H^H better.

Well, sort of acquired, really. Courtesy of that lovely Mr cane.

Look, you fuckers, *somebody* must have a use for a free Bridgeport
    milling machine?

Just come and take it away.

Ah, so not another new vehicle then. At least that's some consolation,
    although not much, I reckon.

Oh yes, I was going to add to that but forgot.
    Hmm.

Two working motorcycles. A third undergoing surgery.

Various cat-litter trays full of big lumps of Guzzi top-end and
plastic takeway tubs full of smaller bits of Guzzi top-end.

Three bicycles. One lathe. Cancel: /two/ lathes, but one's in bits.
One workbench. One benchtop pillar drill. One old boiler, err, that
    is, the house GCH[1].

One tired old SR500 lump in bits. Stacks of plastic bins full of bits.
One small stack of shelves full of half-empty gas bottles (of course
it might be half full of empty gas bottles) and a couple of cheap,
    fairly knackered, DIY welders.

Other stuff like compressor & jet washer.

Assorted boxes, bins, tubs and precariously-balanced stacks of heavy
tat and metal for those projects that I *will* start one day.

Odd bits of projects that I *will* finish one day. Or throw out like
    the others.

Loads of half-empty bottles of oil, antifreeze, WD40, old oil, gear
oil, fork oil (boy do I have bottles of fork oil), WD40.

Loads of really handy oil-soaked rags.

    More tins of bloody WD40.

[1] When I first saw it, I thought it was an abandoned fridge. It's
floor-standing, white and about the same shape.

Sure you do. Look, over there, behind the oil-soaked rags. Just there!
    Loads of space.

    When can you collect?
