My old XJ900 has to go. It's sitting under a cover in my garden taking up
space and it's not going to get sorted.

1985 XJ900F.It runs. MOT until March 26th 2005. No tax. It's got fairly
decent tyres. It had a new seat cover a couple of years ago. It has Daytona
hot grips. New battery. Steel braided hoses on the front. GIVI rack and box.
The exhaust collector (MOTAD 4-2-1) is one piece now as it's been welded so
often, and will probably need welding again for its MOT in March - I've
welded the holes up the last three years and got it through. It's all on the
    underneath so it doesn't show.

I had a fairly large-ish prang on it in 2002, which destroyed the fairing.
I've fitted another one, which is black, rest of the bike is white/blue. The
fairing frame isn't quite straight so the fairing sits a bit low, but is OK.
The electrics in the fairing suffered from being moved about after 17 years
of not moving, so every now and then something goes wrong, which is why I'm
getting shot of it. I don't have time to keep fixing it. It really needs a
bit of TLC on the wiring behind the headlamp to sort it out. The belly pan
is knackered, although I still have it if you're a whizz with fibreglass.

It was my uncle's bike since 1988, and I got it in 2000, so it hasn't been
despatched or given a hard time. Just crashed once! I've used it for a year
or so after fixing it. You could ride it away, albeit it has no tax. An
    ideal winter hack.

    £350 no offers. Croydon.
