On behalf of Ian (Pedalbin), who most of you know:

Silver Kawasaki ZX6R F3 (single headlight)
    P Reg ('96), 27k miles
    MOT/Tax April '08
    BT014 front/rear (brand new)
    New battery
Rear shock rebuilt 1k miles ago
    Double bubble screen
Micron end can and dynajetted to suit
    Datatag
    Datatool immobiliser

It's ex BigJ bike and although not in pristine condition, it's far from
    being tatty.

I saw him this morning - due to see him tomorrow to pick up a half dozen
bottles of Banrock Station White Shiraz (yes I know it's cheap shite, but I
    like it).

Boat pretty much finished apart from the odd bits and bobs - you should give
him a shout and go see for yourself.
It's never too soon - suits you madam!

  9. Heh, I'm not a wine snob, I like Shiraz, don't think I've had the
    white version.
He's on the list of people I've been meaning to email for sodding
ages. Really must set an hour or so aside and catch up with people.
Too much life not enough time atm.
Lalala can't hear you or Matt or Statto or Adie. So there.

We can't all be wrong. Tis time for you to move up to more power. Plus he
would really like for his bike to go to a good, caring home - he's gutted at
    having to sell it.

Do it - you know it makes sense!

  17. Well you could, but it's a combination of personal philosophy, self
knowledge, a fantastic group of local friends, a hectic social life,
looking after my mind, body and (dare I say it in here) spirit and
    loving what I do.

Look out the window. It's spring. Enjoy it.

  18. Buying ZX6R - which isn't black, major minus point there :)
Probably not all at the same time.
In straight lines yes as I'm off the clocks flat out on motorways but
also no as my licence is in enough danger with the 400. On the corners
no, I still have huge chicken strips as I don't need to lean that much
    to get round.
I am not a good caring home, you have seen the state of the ZXR.
And persuasive - I've had an email which consisted of 'go on go on' a
    couple of hundred times :)
Well if it makes sense I think I'm contractually obliged not to do it.
I'll have a think about it. I'd need to have a longer CIHAGM than I
    already have.

  19. Can't hear you either Loz :)
It's far too heavy for me, in that it carries its weight high up. Hog
lowered the shock on his Ducati for me and that was a lovely fit and
far easier to hoist off the stand, yet it weighs the same or slightly
    more?
He wasn't that impressed with them. Though he did try to persaude
ginge to let him run it in for him.
Heh, he's not reading much news atm, I'll point him at this thread.

Hmm. Personal philosophy is in a state of flux right now; self
knowledge is similar. Local friends and social life - that's the
problem. My immediate social circle is more of a social dot; need to
work to change that. Looking after mind and body is more problematic
at the moment. One will follow the other, but motivation is hard to
find. Loving what I do - well, let's just say I work to live, but it
doesn't seem like I'm getting good value.
That first bit I can do. Hard to enjoy the great biking weather when
I'm stuck in a bloody warehouse, but I'm doing what I can.
