Seeing that Elvis picture reminded me of those days. I, like many young men, was jealous of Elvis. All those girls drooling over him rather than me. Elvis had a show at the fairly new Tarrant County Convention Center. I had a few drinks and went down there to humiliate him in some way, and run his ass out of town. Well when I got there, even though those drinks had made me much bigger and tougher than before the drinks, I was unable to penetrate the security. In addition to Elvis' people, the security consisted of a good number of policemen and even several firemen. I couldn't get to Elvis but got close enough to show and tell him who I was and inform him he had better get out of town. He left after that performance and never returned. Some say the events of that day had a traumatic effect on Elvis. A PBS documentary quotes Elvis as saying "I'll never forget louie". It is still not certain just where he is at today. Hound dog's ass. ...louie
