It's still all GovCo money. Doesn't make any difference which cookie jar
they place it in before they spend it.

Yeah - and your point is ? If you bother to scroll up to the above I
suggested that sustainable solutions should indeed be the primary
focus and that nuclear is the best for reliable baseload generation
(taking into account the need for reduced carbon emissions). The fact
that I wasn't aware of a great bit of cutting edge sustainable
technology is neither here nor there. I've been strongly arguing for
quite some time that the govt. should stop subsidising coal power
(which we do to an horrific level) and start sinking the money into
    renewable power generation.
Keep your deviant fantasies to yourself sunshine.

There appear to be so many things to consider. Is it really simple or can
anyone pick a parameter to make their mode of transport/power generation
    look good.
Yes I saw that about one minute after I posted the above.
Well, we could influence the use of coal in China as I believe it's mostly
    our coal they're burning.
    Agreed, some rationalising is necessary.
I could say that 3/4 of my travelling is done in non-urban areas....

  4. And while we're at play - the "Baseload" Scam is just that.
There are several solutions to that available Now - some of which are
older than you are and successful at that.
While you're at it - please consider that is a reactor were to play up in
any way - the whole place is shut down for pretty obvious reasons - not
the least of which is that the thing is perfectly able to murder stuff
well outside any blast footprint of a boiler or three.
A dirty feelthy coal powered or clean solar powered boiler can be shut
down without its pals having to follow suit.
Usually I so - but you're speshul and I decided to share them with you.
    Silly me.
