    SO's mum lived with relatives in the IOM from age 8 to 18 and is able
    to revert to an 'old' Manx accent. This was handy for her elder
    brothers, who visted after the war, as they would send her to buy
    cigarrettes from the local shop, as 'Come Overs' were always told
    that they had none.[1]
