Gaskets

    Just about to refit the cover to a gearbox, got a new cardboard gasket,
    should i use gasket sealant aswell or just the gasket on its own.

    Personally I never use sealant on paper gaskets unless the faces are
    damaged. I normally just smear a little used oil on the faces.
