This is a generic question, and actually pertains to my car, not my
motorcycle, but I figure that way more people on this NG will have
experience with using gas stabilizers than car people.

I have a car that I put in storage a few months ago. Oil change, filled
the tank, added stabilizer, etc. It might be off the road for quite
some time, and I see on the bottle containing the stabilizer that it
puports to be effective for 6 months only.

Is this a valid concern? Should I drain the tank, or buy temporary
insurance and drive it around for one gas tank's worth of gas, before
    putting it back in storage?

    Thanks for any comments.
