This is going to be interesting. I was creeping north up Balham High
Road, through the snow and slush on the GN250, and just past the
junction with Bedford Hill (for those who know it) there's a Gatso and
    it flashed me at....

    wait for it.....

    .....15mph.

I can only assume drfiting snow has buggered its electronics.

If I get a NIP from this one all hell is going to break loose.

Whatever speed you reckon you were doing is irrelevant. You have so

Currently all gatso's turned off here in Oxfordshire, but rumours
persist they will be turned on again next April.

Heh. We shall see. I'm wondering iof a defence of: "If you think I
was doing 45mph in that snow you can see all around, you're loopy"
will work. seriously: 15mph and it popped off. It's not like it was
popped off by an oncoming vehicle going too fast, either.

They do go tilt, I got flashed along with loads of others by the one
near to Tolworth tower a while back. Looking in the mirror it was
flashing every vehicle, never heard a thing.

  6. A few years ago, I was stuck on the M11 for some time, between two large
trucks and just in front of me was a gatso. I found that a slight quick
movement towards the truck in front set off the gatso. So to pass the
time I set it off numerous times moving back and forwards. Much to the
amusement of the trucker behind me.

I'm surprised that Tog doesn't realise one of his "internet friends"
controls the cameras and is following him and getting ready to set him up
    with 12 points

    In message
The gridlines will tell the truth, unless they are not visible, in which
case, how can they prove beyond doubt that it was working properly

Likely the license plate wasn't too readable either on the picture.
