I don't want to be one of those cunts that hangs round scrounging gas
IYKWIM. I feel the same way about bacon butties etc TBH.

I'll have one of them with me too, as backup. Bring your own meths if
you want to be self-sufficient - or pick a little one up off ebay -
that's where I got mine; brand new for less than a tenner.

    Nope - ask Elly.
No idea. The yurt has cooking stuff and crockery in it.
Steph and I are doing a run to the farmer's market near her on
Thursday 4th (unless it is raining) so big slabs of meat in cool boxes
will be being transported in the Steph mobile. Do you want us to pick
    anything up?
    It's not long now.

If I can fit it in the car, I'll bring the gas barbeque with us. It has
a decent gas ring too so I'll pack the big yellow kettle.

I'm going to Penkridge market with Kathryn the Wednesday before we go,
and I'm planning on buying stacks of bacon, sausages, steak etc for
breakfasts and lunches for a few days (I'll stick them in the freezer
till we leave, so they should stay ok for a couple of days with ice packs
in a cool box). If anyone else wants me to bring them some food too -
shout now! - but I do require payment on delivery;)
As you probably know, I find it impossible to cook for less than 15
people at a time, even when there's only 4 of us :(

    wisdom:
What a very good idea. I confess to having never heard of them before
but they look good, if a little expensive for what they are[1]
    Indeed.

[1] It's something to do with stuff that runs on meths/petrol isn't it?
Zippos are the same - £25 for what is essentially worth a fiver at the
    most.
