Are HG Lobsters still the glove of choice for the chillier mornings?

My fingers are starting to get a bit cold at the moment.

Only for the technology-shy luddites. Artificial heat is where it's at.

I have thought of heated grips but to be honest, I doubt I'll be riding
all through winter so I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

They're great on those early/late summer evenings where the temperature
dips & you've only got your summer gloves. But if you don't want the
hassle of fitting them, there's always heated gloves/inner gloves.
They're better than grips when it's really cold anyway as they heat
    your whole hand.

I had heated grips on my little GS500 when I bought it. They are great. It
was chilly riding to a meeting this morning and they kept my fingers warm.

Top Tip...Wearing a T-Shirt and jeans is not one of my better ideas. Perhaps
a jumper might have been better..

They work for me and I really feel the cold. With the Pathans on I
    don't use the heated grips...

I'm considering a fly screen for my GS500.

I got some of them thar socks, to use while cycling.
They don't get noticibly warm but they stop my feet from freezing off
when I go for rides of over 40kms in the winter.

I use them with rechargeables, have you seen the price of Duracells?

Well, I bought a pair on Friday on the way home from work.

I haven't used them yet[1], but will look forward to nice, toasty
    fingers in the near future.

[1] DIY most of the weekend and in the car today.
