Gmail problem - any help?

    I'm getting this error quite often, recently:

    550 RCPT TO:<> Relaying not allowed

    Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it, please?

    is this with an email client like Outlook or via the gmail web interface?

    If the former, are you using your ISP's SMTP server with a gmail address in
    the "from" field?

    If yes, then change the SMTP server to the gmail one, which will need an
    authenticated login.

    Otherwise, wibble flip.

    Yus, Outhouse.
    Yes, as per last published instructions from ISP. Several accounts set
    up the same way, but just one acting up.
    Went for that option - all good, so far. Cheers!
