I got nicked in Southall by a particulary gorgeous young female copper,
for using a handheld mobile phone whilst driving. It's a good job she
didn't notice me rolling a joint and swigging from the open can of
Special Brew I had whilst I was chatting.

30 quid fine with no points. I can live with that.

    I've never rolled a joint.

I once asked my daughter to roll a ciggie for me while I was working on
her RM125. I had filthy hands at the time and was expecting some
mongified expansion chamber shaped effort to be thrust between my lips,
but she did the most perfect rollie for me. She was about 14 or 15 at
the time. I knew she didn't smoke at all[1] so asked why she'd learned,
she said all her mates smoked rollies/joints but they always fell apart
or were crap in some other way, so she'd learned for them. Apparently
she was in great demand as a ciggie/joint roller in school.

[1] She hates smoking with a passion, always has done. Didn't stop her
trying a joint once and ending up in hospital though.

She has an undersized heart with a condition known as Hypertrophic
Cardiomyopathy which leaves her with extremely low blood pressure. She
didn't know that cannabis lowers the BP even further. About 30 minutes
after deciding it tasted fucking awful she flaked out in the pub and
ended up in hospital for 3 days, while they worked to bring her BP back
to what is normal for her, and keep it there.
