    Just watched a GL1800 airbag video http://ridedfw.com/images/airbag.mpg

The crash test dummy does not act as a person would.
Why can't they use some scumbag burglar or similar to test these things?

    Airbag, would you want one?

I would've jumped just before impact, thus clearing the car and then I'd do
a commando roll on the other side to
escape with a small scratch on my left arm from the radio aerial on the car.

    airbags, who needs em?

    Indeed.

Quite an impressive demonstration in the classic "SMIDSY".

The idea of an airbag on a motorcycle is to slow you down if you are
unlucky enouth to have an accident(that will give the result on a lower
    speed accident).
