My heart bleeds. Some of us have been at work all week, you know!

  2. Welcome back. I was watching some of the racing on ITV4 last night. The
sidecar boys are utterly, utterly deranged.

Did the 'leccy bikes make you think that women are 10 a penny but
    motorcycle racing is irreplaceable

Being at work and it seeming normal is more sucky than thinking being
back at work sucks, when you think about it.

Do we get a TT 2009 review then?

Depends how much you hate what you're doing.

I've done jobs anywhere between 0 and 11 out of 10 on the hate it
    scale.

    Quite a bit, ATM.
    Even when I've had a job I enjoyed, which I haven't for a while now, I
know I'd still rather be on holiday.

I've yet to understand people who talk about the their holiday and say
things like: "Of course, by the middle of the second week we were ready
to come home". I mean, WTF?!

That's all very well but the grass becomes a real pain if you leave it
a couple of weeks. And don't get me started on birdshit on the car...

“But really, I was driving down the dual carriageway and saw a guy
about my age, in a people carrier, kids in the back, bonnet up, steam
coming out of the engine, wife at his side giving him all that. What's
he do at the weekend? Mow the grass? Wash the car? I mean, how can I
explain something like this to someone like that? It's just not in his
    DNA.”

Being at home but not having to do any work is enjoyable, at least to
me. Sometimes it's just not as relaxing being in an unusual place.

Sorry but your time-keeping is atrocious.

    You're fired.

Actually that helps me quite a lot. One of us is at work wasting work
time posting to UKRM. The other is on holiday wasting holiday time
    posting to UKRM.

But it could make you famous. Being a middling petrol racer will not.

I don't understand. Surely if the Gardeners don't turn up you sack them
    and get another company in?
And those lovely Polish blokes keep one's car spotless.

We are as one on this. I don't think I have ever been on holiday and
sat doing nothing. Activity holidays rock.

I have, mainly when the sprogs were small but I much prefer to be
    doing something.

  19. I definitely can't do beach holidays and my idea of hell would be a
cruise. Activity/trekking hols all the way for me.

    [being back from ... PAAAHND!]
Don't wind him up you bastard:

    1. He's had a bump on the head, don't y'know.

    2. He's only come back early to ensure the post volume here is
    maintained.

    3. He's slower than a girl, now.

    4. He has to take advantage of Bear being away for longer.
