    Steering head bearings adjusted.
Front tyre up from 4 to 21psi.
Total loss lubrication system topped up.
Variety of camping doo dahs strapped to the sticky out bits.
    Weather forecast checked.

    I think I'm ready for Chimay :)

Belgium has been the only wet country I've been in so far - as soon as I
approached Luxembourg yesterday, the sun came out. The day before, I
travelled from Lux into Be and it started to piss down. We had a small
tornado in Bouillon on Sat pm. Comical rearrangement of café tables ensued.
    Good luck...

My wonderful employer told me today that they weren't aware that I
intended leaving work at lunchtime tomorrow and that if I wanted to do
so I should have booked the day off. When you consider that leaving at
lunchtime will get me home at my official finishing time I think you
    can guess my response.

I'll be home by 4pm and then heading for the tunnel soon afterwards so
I'll see you at the circuit.

My panniers are sitting in the dining room, half-stuffed. Can't find
my paddock sack, so rubble bags will have to do. Found a stripped nut
on an engine mount the other day, and the comedic replacement finally
culminated in re-bolting it all up at midday today. The satnav
shenanigans leave that in the shade, however. still, all up and
running now and hopefully it'll all do the distance.
They are a bunch of cunts, Andy.
Mmm, tunnel. Good call, considering the predicted Channel gales
tomorrow. I'll be pitched up under the white trees by 5pm, hopefully.
I'll save you a space at a safe distance.

The aerial view shows a clump of four trees in the SW corner of the
field that look to be white, due to the angle of the sun when the
    picture was taken.

Interesting bit of topiary, that, viewed from the field. Properly
known as the Packer Commemorative Arch and Comfort Station.
