I was out on the weekend for a ride.
I notice that there is always a flash for cash somewhere.(Speed Camera)
I have an idea for the general motorcycling community.
I'm a fan of "Google Earth" and I have recently started place marking
all the speed camera locations that I have seen or know the regular
    location
    of.
Any feedback from people reading this would be great. Do you think it
would work, exchange place marks etc.....

Just thought I'd throw it out there

    Cheers

I got a speeding fine the other week so I applied for the dole to pay it
lol..While I was at it I thought I might as well hold on to in for a bit
longer so it will pay my two rego's aswell lol. I cant believe im making the
government pay for my rego speeding fines and petrol. Thank God I migrated
to Australia from Iraq 2 years ago :D

Wouldn't it be easier to just keep a look out for speed cameras, when
when you see one, to ensure you are doing less than the posted speed
    limit before passing it?

The problem with a database of locations as you suggest, is that
everyone knows where the local speed cameras are. Are you going to
visit google earth and bring up the camera locations every time you
drive some place you don't normally drive to? When you become reliant
on this, What do you do when you can't access google earth before you
travel somewhere? What do you do when they install a new camera which
isn't in the database. How do you cope with mobile police patrols and
speed monitoring. Wouldn't it be just easier and a lot less effort to
either travel within the allowed speed limit, or use your observation
skills to locate the cameras and other speed detection devices?
