Free, eh? So that'll be: "After 100 yards, turn..." "New Ronco Jizz Away! Use on sofas *and* curtains!" "...right"

It will be marvelous to see Tom Tom get royally fucked on pricing and drop from £250 to £100 or less. They might even need decent CS.
[email protected] took a blunt brush and painted... And a review of the system says its slow to use, slow to download & update the maps, the street view is hopeless streaming in realtime. "Back to the iPhone" was their closing comment. I wouldn't loose too much sleep over it yet.
[...] Well, it's pretty much worth what you're paying for it. ;-) In a world with perfect 3G connections everywhere Google Navigation might work quite well, but for now, I'll stick with keeping my maps on the device. Well, one good thing that'll come of it is the lowering of navigation software prices (I hope). I cheered for the iPhone even though I'd never use the abominable contraption myself, because it meant that Windows Mobile devices started having large screens instead of tiny 2.8" displays. Now I hope Google Navigation catches on and programs like iGo and TomTom will get cheaper and will get real-time updates from the net.
