  1. If you'd flown her to Canberra,she could've practiced while driving BTH's
    parents to Sydney.

Yeah, but look at how un-faded their curtains are, and un-pissed-off
their cows are as compared to ours!

G, who STR a brief non-daylight-saving-justification thread of
conversation at Karuah on the weekend... Clem justified it
to himself, the rest of us just nodded and smiled... :)

'They' (I always wonder who 'They' are) tend to lock the
entry points for cars, but they rarely lock the bike-sized
    footpaths... follow my drift?

Find empty dead end street in local Industrial area, go to supermarket
and buy 50 disposable plastic cups. Go to www.rightstart.com.au and get
map and measurements of P's course.

    use cups as cones. learn.

What's the point in practicing riding to licence testing standards? The
riding test is a skill test to test your ability to control the bike and not
necessarily reflective of any real life situation a rider might find
themselves in. If the aim is to increase riding skill, then forget what the
specs of the test are. Set up a cone as a stop marker. Ride towards the cone
at whatever speed you want to practice stopping from... 60kph would be a
realistic real life speed. Do one practise stop. Put a cone next to where
the foot peg is. Next time try to stop with the front wheel where the cone
is... move the cones closer to each other each time you succeed and try to
stop sooner each time. Try the same think with countersteering. Use one cone
as a steering marker and try to steer around another cone. Keep increasing
the level of difficulty by moving the second cone further out each time you
    successfully go around it.

but the OP already has a licence. The test determines whether the rider has
the MINIMUM level of skill required by a NOVICE rider. Hardly the level of
achievement any licenced rider should be aiming for.
