    Why not?

Are you embarrassed by your habitual rising inflection?

    I don't think a late 90's R1 will be any way faster then a K3 Gixxer but
if it feels FAF on the road what does it matter

I was out with a bunch of people for lunch on Sunday, and we were
pretty much in agreement on how irritating AQI is - *particularly*
when the person doing it isn't an aussie.

However, they all looked at me as if were some sort of mad freak-case
when I made a joking complaint about the fact our waitress had fallen
into the all-too-common waiting-person's trap of using reflexive
pronouns incorrectly. No-one else could see the problem with
statements along the lines of "can I get any more drinks for
    yourselves?"

It's not just waiting staff, it's the whole fucking world.

"I'll send that to yourself tomorrow". I hear it at work all the time.

I can excuse it in the Irish, they are after all basically retarded, but
from decent British people it's downright intolerable.

    "joking"?

And it's not just waiting staff. Pretty much everyone in any customer
facing role seems to use them nowadays.

    Aaaarrrrgggggghhhh!!!!
I feel that Champ might be in that group.
