From a mate in Qld, who really wants to move back to Tassie

The beast that is the kick start SRX, my daily transport to work and back
has but one poor design feature... It's steenking silly "carb and a half"
    carbie setup.

Through scientific study, careful conclusions, rapacious reasoning, and some
damn fine GOOGLING! I've discovered that the carbs off of a twin cyl 250
kwakasucki fit on with the minimum of fuss. due to the (comparative) slow
revs of the big single, they don't even need much in the way of re-jetting.
(SRX has two inlet and exhaust ports, so despite being a single banger, uses
    two carbs)

SOOOOOO........... If anyone sees or hears of a pair of GPX250, ZX2, etc
carbies going for sale, please let me know

I haven't got any carbs, but I *do* have a GPX250 head that you can
    have. ;-)

Do I want head off BTH? Nah, ta anyway. I knew if there were any spare
carbs around, BTH would have em.

I traded a couple of big boxes of GPX250 bits to the wrecker when I
    sold my last one.

But now I want one again! :-(
