Gpz 900R, Engine. What fits?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by The Older Gentleman, Apr 24, 2004.

  1. GPZ1000RX lump drops straight in, apparently. But I think there are more
    900s around than 1000s.

  4. Hmmm... I know the top ends are interchangeable. I'm 99% sure the lumps
    are effectively the same.

Grim said "Oi! Fix your clock." It was then I realized that the time
dilation was not a result of Einstein's laws but of poor admin. I wish
I could say it was the drugs but that was a very long time ago :)
    Cheers Grim.

    hello people,
My bike has thrown a rod and the engine is trashed. Not had
much joy finding a good A1 model engine to replace it with. So I thought
I'd tap into the endless seem of knowledge and experience that is uk.rec
and ask is there another lump that I can drop in or even better does any
one know where I can find a good engine. Cheers for your time.

    Zippy,
The destination is nothing, it's the journey that counts.

    Martian,
A good standard A1 would solve all my problems. It would have
to be keenly priced though as money (as always) is a bit thin on the
ground. What amount of dosh would lever the beast from your friends hands?
