  1. Wagered at bookie: £9

    Return: £9.25.

But I got the winner at the office sweep, so that's OK, then. And
daughter Helen had a quid each way on the winner and trousered £37, so
    that's definitely OK too.

    I wish.

I had a free bet on somethingorother at 33-1 which was leading at one
point towards the end, but didn't quite have the pace to make it to the
    end.

Bit of a fucker to see my main bet fall at the first fence though.

    Is it over ?
One of those hooray henrys chucked a crisp wrapper out the back window
of the private hire car he was riding in, just in front of loads of
coppers and just before he was disgorged in front of the queens arms
pub by the race track. Just in front of me while I was behind the cab
    on my bike.

    Nice.

Then again I'd rather be on the bike on a day like this than at the
    races. Honest.

I was given a selection of horses by my friend, who hasn't let me down
in 5 years. I bet 2.50 each way on her choices, one of which was the
winner, so I paid out £25 and got £108 back - result! Big curry last
night for us and lots of Cobra!

Some people were suggesting decorating Adie's bike with Liverpool
    regalia at Snetterton last weekend.

Of course I did the decent thing and said that would be a bad thing to
    do.

my Chinese contractor's offered to buy drinks today:

    £200 quid stake; £12,000 pay-out.

I suggested he can buy lunch, rather than just drinks.

ITYM failed to find anything suitable. I've spent the weekend in WiP
and in her drunkenness dropped you lot it in.

At this point I would normally say "Ginge".

However, the juxtaposition of "Ginge" and "strap-on" has brought on
    another bout of projectile vomiting.

    So I won't.
