Well, mebbe the 'great' bit is a tad too much, but I am thinking of a
    northern run.

After meeting PJ & my betrothed <waves> I realised there hasn't been
many outings oop north this year at all.

    So, I'm proposing a ride-out during the 1st w/e in October (yes,
really. I do still expect the weather to be reasonable then). As that
is my w/e off I'm currently planning on riding to Hawick via some nice
A roads, and of course if a certain DR could meet up somewhere, he
could show us some nice roads in his neck of the woods ;o)

Anyone interested, e-mail me. It will be an early start, if there
isn't any interest then I'll just bog off to the northern end of
Edinburgh to stay with some friends in the vicinity who promised to
    show me some decent roads.

Oh. He wasn't exactly quiet about it. Mind you, the fact he's already
married puts a spanner in the works for getting wed.

    Gimme the cheese.

If it's like it is now, it would not only be unfun, it would be bloody
dangerous. Anything less than hurricane conditions, however, and it's
    game on...
