If the weather's OK tomorrow, I'll pop out to the garage. In the
    meantime, http://tinyurl.com/68r4sf.

As to the pedestrians, words cannot express how much I hope that never
happens again. Ever. At all. To anyone.

I feel old now, as I couldn't agree with you more.

I'm stunned by the very idea that men get excited by a kitchen bin.

I put the 30 litre one on my wedding list.

    And got it.

Too small, hence why I gave mine away. The 50 litre one is perfection.

    Unreliable POS.
I've lost count of the number of times it's needed repairing.

There is a woman in the house.

    Perhaps I should elaborate.
A Brabantia has a nasty little catch which isn't really up to the job
and doesn't take kindly to being washed.
A woman thinks that kitchen bins should be washed.

The springs and dampers aren't that good either.

Fortunately the catch is the same as used on some old Sun disk arrays
which we were throwing out a couple of years ago so I have a good supply.

It is a bit small, but the 50 litre wouldn't fit in my kitchen.

I thought the reviews said the 501 was a bit lardy and the lid on the
original 301 was much quicker 0-90 degrees.

I came >< that close to buying a pearl white 1000 on Saturday. I went
up to my dealer to check on the head replacement being done to the
ZX-10 and ended up chatting with the shop owner in front of it. It's
a limited edition and looks bloody nice. And the price he'd sell me
one for, with a pair of titanium arrow cans thrown in, was frankly
    shocking.

It was substantially less than list price.
It looks a lot better in the metal than in the picture. A lovely deep
    pearl white.
Thing is, I've had a load of Suzuki's in a row. I think the next one
will be an R1 or a 1098 if I can stretch to it.

But first the 10R is getting a single exhaust conversion...

That looks smart but anything's better than riding something that
    looks like a wheelbarrow.

The CBX can do the fourth of those without even getting close to
    managing the first three.
