Guzzi UJ update

The swingarm came out without drama a couple of days ago.

It turns out that I was just being paranoid. The bearing and UJ look
fine, but I'll replace the UJ anyway.

I might order a replacement gaiter as well as long as they're not too
expensive, seeing as the current one has a couple of tiny splits. I'll
also slap on some Hammerite once I get the swingarm degreased and the
worst of the rust off.

Shit. It only just hit me: I'm down to one roadworthy bike ATM. I feel
naked.

 

If it's the cardan (double UJ) coupling they are about £100 and the
splines have to be assembled with moly.

Ta, in fact I've already bought the replacement shaft, which is why
I'm quite happy to stick it in.
