WARNING! - if you are a HD fan you may be offended!

I was reading my latest edition of Cycle World and just about fell out
of my chair laughing while reading a side-bar article on the latest
hop-up kit for HD entitled "Harley busts out the big guns."

Now that you have spent your hard earned bucks on the bike and some
bling you can spend even MORE money and get better performance.

For an additional $8000 you can get a 1967cc twin-cam engine that puts
out a whopping (I am being facetious here) 125bhp at the crank. For
another $2000 you can get a new six-speed overdrive gearbox so that
you can actually utilize some of that power. If you are short on math
skills, that's an ADDITIONAL $10,000 above and beyond the cost of the
bike, not including labor and installation!!

Let's see, the average HD probably sells in the range of $17k (less
for sporties, more for others). Tack in some labor charges and you
are looking at about $30k to approach the performance specs of a 600cc
jap bike that costs about $8000 brand new. And we aren't talking
true performance specs here because we all know the jap bike will
weigh far less and have better handling characteristics.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? An additional $10,000+ just to get "close" to
what a bike that has less than 1/3 the engine size and costs less than
    1/3 the price???

    LMFAO

  2. and while it doesn't address the handling problems the FLs have at
speed, it may allow one to get up to wobble speed more quickly.
    Perfect.

Judging from your pictures, I'd say your "wobble" speed is minimal, no
matter what bike you ride... LOL... Based on your performance in the Waltz
run, that is pretty hard evidence that you can't ride a motorcycle ..

  4. I didn't see you there. You chickened out and didn't even try it after
saying you could ride all these people into the ground. all talk but no
    action from you.

I finished what was a tough ride. The guy who won it last year didn't
finish it. Probably the highest DNF percentage of any Waltz run to
date, it was a tough course and the weather made it even harder.

No doubt it was a tough run in some pretty bad weather... LOL... What was
your excuse last year and the year before... The fact is .. I offered to peg
up with you and ride your fat ass into the ground, before the Waltz Across
Texas discussion ever took place... LMAO.. Then I offered to peg up with you
    on the Waltz run... LOL..

It's all on this newsgroup archives... The offer still stands..you phony
bastard.. Only this time.. I'll ride your sorry ass into the pavement after
I whip the shit out of you or humiliate you in some other way.. You've
crossed the line.. when you brought my wife into your sleazy shit..

So that offer is on the table . You are welcome to bring your trash buddy
texdays with you.. Noticeably.. you both got real scarce while I was in YOUR
area.. Noticeably.. you have gotten real prolific on this newsgroup since I
left the area.. Noticeably.. you are still making claims to fame that can't
be supported.. Hell.. fat boy.. your only claim to fame so far is the
    disgusting porn you subscribe to..

  6. I ws there and you didn't show up. you're all talk, no action.

last year's Waltz I placed 16th out of 50+ riders. Not bad, could do
better. Didn't see you then either.

Did you agree to "peg" up and let's ride or did you commence squealing about
"rules".. ?? Like I said the offer stands, you fat pig.. I am not even in
shape and am spotting you about 25 years or thereabouts.. LMAO..
Generic runs don't interest me very much fat boy.. No matter.. doubtful you
will ever see me on a Waltz run.. I was willing to make an exception on the
last one, till you commenced to "wobble" and wouldn't even talk about
"pegging" up with me.. Seems like you avoid coming in contact with anyone
who is a "biker".. LOL.. Far as I can tell, you don't go anywhere that they
might be.. Why is that .. fat boy..??

    area club.

Bill, you're like a puppet on a string. Do you know how many of us
make fun of you behind your back. Its actually more fun that way.
Somebody told me you ride a kawasaki vulcan 800. Is that true? Thats
a GIRL's bike! HA! I also heard that you stripped the badging off so
people might think its a Hardly. Thats even more funny. What exactly
is your problem? Can't afford a Hardly? Why don't you get a Man's
    motorcycle?

I think I read someone saying something about there being the
consumption of adult beverages prior to TMRAII meetings. When I asked I
was not corrected. I have no problems with people who like to drink. But
I don't frequent "events" where the bikes aren't parked for the day
    before the drinking begins.

That's why I seldom went to various events sponsored by my HOG chapter
    "back in the day".

That's why events like ROT don't thrill me.

You must be referring to Hondas On Gravel.. Mark.. Seems like I recall you
riding some kind of ragged out Gold Wing or something.. You also seem to
avoid any other locations or "events" where bikers may gather.. Hmmm..
wonder why that is ? Course that may like the other questions concerning
your other declarations that you have made.

Don't remember seeing anyone overindulge at any of those TMRA II meetings,
or even close.. My usual beverage of choice would be a coffee, soda or an
occasional beer.. Sounds like a cop out Mark.. Go figure..

BTW.. since you haven't figured out what your relationship with Prince
Albert Lodge is.. I will be delighted to share that information with you at
one of the TMRA II meetings in this area.. You just might learn something
about the order that you claim to belong.. LOL.. My schedule isn't going to
permit me to attend this month.. I will be in Arizona .. Sorry.. I realize
    how anxious you must be..

I can confirm there was no drinking at the last TMRA2 meeting. According to
Elmer http://tinyurl.com/2wllj the meeting was shortened and held outside
the VFW because the bartender could not get thru the flooded streets.

    "overindulging"?
    "bartender" at the meeting?

We're not back in the 60's folks. We all know the drill. 1 drink is
enough to affect a person in a car that doesn't tip over when stopped.
Like I said, people are free to do as they choose (IMO). I choose to not
partake until after the bike is parked for the day. I also choose to
not be in close proximity to those who choose otherwise.

Beemer Biker said they even shortened a recent meeting because of the
    lack of booze.

LOL.. The meeting places do tend to occur at VFW and American Legion
facilities.. and yes.. there is a bar with bartenders.. Hmmm... Quite a few
veterans who belong to those organizations also ride motorcycles and they
off the facility at no charge to host the meetings.. On the night in
question, if you, Mark Johnson and John Moran had shown up, the meeting
could have used the opportunity for all of us to look through the porn
collections that you boys seem so fond of.. LMAO.. Especially the porn that
seems to fascinate John Moran and Mark.. Now that really aces someone
drinking a coldbeer, don't it ? Good, Clean .. north american
    entertainment.. Right ?
