Just goes to show what a bunch slackers the Irish MPs are too, it's a
miracle he had anyone to say "**** you" to, he's about the only fucker
in the building.

Relatedly, the polis and the teachers are threatening strike action -
**** them; Irish teachers are bloody well paid and the polis get a good
screw too. Every other fucker is taking a hit these days, and if they
don't like it, **** them. The nurses I have great sympathy for, and the
firemen too, but not the teacher or the cops, at least as far as
payscales go.

One of the Greens who chose to go into coalition with FF, selling out
every principle they claimed to hold (their own leader resigned rather
than join the cabinet) and, frankly, another whinging sponger who
deserves to lose his seat at the next election. He isn't fit to
address Emmett Stagg in any terms, let alone those.

Not really fair: Ireland has a good education system (for most, though
not all, students) and there is a residual respect for education which
has pretty much disappeared in England. Why shouldn't teachers get
about 60% of a TD's salary?

 

Oooo that reminds me. I was doing lunch at a rather nice hotel on Sunday
when up wanders this large chap to show us some magic tricks. As I was in
the company of ladies I kept my initial thoughts to myself.

Fucking hell he was brilliant. He was doing these tricks right in front
of me. I was watching for all kinds of mis-direction trickery and didn't
spot a single slip-up. I did guess how a couple of his tricks worked, for
which I might be wrong, but some of the stuff he did really was amazing.
