  1. **** the safety nazis.

Nice greasy roads out there this afternoon. Just perfect for playing
spin up the back wheel slightly coming out of roundabouts and stuff.

ago. and is in the process of having all it's software installed right
now. I may go and I may be gone a very long time.

Not yet, I have been waiting to finish building the computer. I expect
to be in a position to start the editing at about 8 o'clock tonight[1]
and fully expect to be rebuilding the damn thing from scratch at about
    ten past.

[1] I have got so many kin disks of various bits of software to install
it is untrue. You certainly get your monies worth in these consumer
    driven days.

  7. Good luck then. I'm off for Xmas about midday on Friday and won't have
the benefit of broadband or even unmetered dialup so if you're not done
before then, I'll get it when I come back.
It's good to buy software. I don't buy more of it because I get confused
after the third page of the manual, generally.

The plan is that when it is done I shall call upon the good offices of a
ukrmer with download bandwidth to host it for a week or so.
The only software I have actually bought is Adobe Premier (plus bits)
the rest is all bundled with the video capture card

Well as it happens I lied.

I have just this moment rebooted the beast for the last time today and
thus all the extra stuff is installed (quick innit?[1]). However, it
seems I have a little light reading to do.

Hey ho at least me glasses are clean.

[1] The whole exercise only gobbled up about 8 gigs of space, which I
find worrying as I was expecting to lose a great deal more than that.

  11. See my post about getting confused after the third page..
Wouldn't make the blindest bit of difference in my case.
8 gigs is a lot, but then I don't have stuff like that on here.

Not really. The whole exercise has ended up with about 20 new programs
being added to the machine and as most of it is to do with video
processing the all come with huge data files and examples and stuff.

Of course none of it is any use when after doing all this you can't get
Radio 4 online anymore, which is an issue.

I am off for a read, catch yous all later.

Yes they are. Someone will give you the details but you will find they
are officially classified as recreational vehicles. Well probably not
actually, most of ukrm will have you killfiled so they won't but they
    would if they didn't.

Of you ride them like a mad-man, you get your-self killed. They are not
