I'm currently trying to work out why I've been pulled so many times.

I can't put my finger on it, though.

  2. A dozen or so. Hardly anything, really.

Quintinshill killed 400-odd, but that was in 1915 and gas lighting and
wooden carriages had a lot to do with it.

The number of train crashes that result in death tolls of over a hundred
    are very rare.

  3. Interesting. They wanted me to demonstrate my iBook at Frankfurt last
year, and ran a sniffer test on it, too, before they'd let me board the
    flight to LHR.

Yeah, I envisaged someone sitting and waiting for a train and blowing
it as the train went over. But I suppose it'd be easy enough to build
a simple contact switch and put it on the rail so that the train
    triggered it.

The other good one would be to blow up a bridge carrying rail or road.

    Cunts, the pair of you.

What I meant was 'I've done it every time I've flown so far'.

    OK?

I did, but that's all forgotten now. Just as well really as I had a
blind date tonight that went really, really well, & we're going away
for the weekend. Life's starting to look again :)

Whereas the story coming out now is "... could happen within days"
    (newsnight)

So total disruption of the worlds flights just to make a point

    The point being
"John Reid would be a better PM than Gordon Brown. See how masterful
he is. See how he cares for the British people. Vote Reid!"

Aah, but if you could smuggle a decent chemistry set on board, you might
be able to make tri-nitro cellulose out of it

I'm sitting in the USA, after a pleasant day at the Space & Rocket
Museum in Huntsville (1), looking at a flight back Sunday night with my
    6 y/o son.

Current thoughts (despite the fact that I think Islam is a rather good
religion, as religions go) is round up every vaguely islamic looking
**** in the UK. Intern them until something else interesting takes the
press interest, then whack them all with cyanide gas.

    (1) ******, a Saturn 5 is really really big close up!

I have once or twice. I can't remember where, but it may have been one
or two Arabic places and Turkey.

I had a sniffer test on my PC in Boston. Only 'cos I wound the wankers
    up.
