Hannover & Lodz

I shall be going to Lithuania in June , stopping en route in Hannover
& Lodz.
Any recommendations for places to stay , either camping or hotel.

i assume you mean in a tent type camping....
as if in a motorhome, then the VW factory in hanover has a 'wohnmobile
stellplatz' which is a place to park up for a few nights, thousands of em
all over germany, france cell em 'aire de camping cars') ,
it's situated next to the visitor building where you go to have tours of the
factory,
3 nights max, free to stay including electric, standard 1 euro for 100
litres of water, free to empty bog etc at the sani station, 1 euro to
operate the exit barrier which is only down at certian times,

100 meter walk to tram stop, about 6 or 7 stops and your in the centre.

But if not playing the pikey like i did, then i dunno, as i havent stayed on
a campsite abroad for about 6 years, since i discovered the wohnmobile
stellplatz network.

If it were me I push the extra 60 k's to Braunschweig, much nicer IMO.
No recommends as such though 'window shopping' in Bruchstraße can be
amusing.
